Introducing Scrapyard Studios CIC

Building Community Through The Arts

Scrapyard Studios was formed in 2018 to celebrate and promote the arts and community.
We are a CIC - a Community Interest Company.
This means we exist to strengthen the communities we serve. We're not here to make a profit.

What do you do?

We run workshops and projects in music and visual arts.
We strengthen the community by uniting people through common creative goals.
We help people gain confidence and learn new skills.
In 2023 we were the lead organisation for WIMIN Festival - Liverpool's new all-women music festival!

What can I get involved in during 2024?

Join us for a free project such as Bootle Guitar Club, Rail Explored, Rock Choir, or Youth Choir.
None of these require any previous experience.

Record or rehearse in Studio 5, our professional recording studio.

For women in music, there will be an array of events and workshops as part of the Gals Who Gig Project, and for young people our new youth guitar club, the Fretboard Society.

Where are you based?

We are based in Bootle, just North of Liverpool.
Bootle is an urban area in the top 1% of multiple deprivations.
It's also full of creative people who want to change the world.
Our recording studio and many of our workshops are held at SAFE Regeneration
and the Lock & Quay Community Pub.

Who are your partners?

The work we do is only possible with the help of our friends and funders.
Massive thanks to the following for their support.
